AAE – A Short History
From its inception in 1969, American Automotive Equipment, (originally known as MZE, Inc.) has been an automobile service equipment leader and innovator. The company began as a distributor/service center for various makers of automotive service equipment in the undercar sector, operating in the Northeastern United States.
Today, AAE is one of America’s largest independent suppliers of automobile service equipment, manufacturing, distributing, selling and supporting auto lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers, and more.
AAE is headquartered in Port Chester, New York, and maintains its primary logistics facility in Cleburne, Texas.
Beginning in 2004, our US-based manufacturing processes were internationalized, enabling us to deliver the same “top value” product that our customer base of over 100,000 had come to expect.
At that time, three international cooperative ventures were established, adding 200,000 square feet of production capacity, enabling AAE to triple its output size while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
